XVIII Plant Molecular Biology Meeting
We are delighted to invite you to the XVIII Meeting of Plant Molecular Biology (XVIII RBMP), to be held at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Bilbao on July 1-3, 2026.
RBMP is a key biennial event in the field of plant molecular biology, bringing together researchers, academics, and professionals from across Spain and beyond. The program will include keynote lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, and opportunities for networking and collaboration. Our goal is to provide a dynamic and inspiring forum for sharing the latest advances in plant molecular biology, fostering scientific exchange, and promoting innovative research. Importantly, we encourage an active participation and prominent role of early-career researchers. We seek to establish a framework that supports agricultural progress to face, among others, the challenges posed by climate change.
The meeting will take place at the Bizkaia Aretoa, an emblematic building designed by the acclaimed architect Alvaro Siza. It is located in the heart of the city, overlooking the Estuary of Bilbao and just a few meters from the Guggenheim museum, the symbol of modern Bilbao. This vibrant city is renowned for its remarkable transformation from an industrial center into a lively cultural hub, distinguished by its impressive architecture and natural surroundings.
We warmly welcome your participation, whether as a presenter, attendee, or contributor to the rich discussions that define the spirit of our community. Along the website you will find detailed information about the registration, programme, abstract submission and accommodation. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further information.
We look forward to see you all in Bilbao next XVIII RBMP!
